Antique Chinese Furniture!

Wow! We were treated to quite a collection at the home of Ron & Carol White. Over the years they have amassed an amazing collection of antique Chinese furniture! They lived in China and bought the pieces first hand. They have really lived all over, including Paris, so we had a great time hearing their stories! We first met them at Kelly's in Key West and they were kind enough to invite us over for a lovely dinner and night!
Chris, Carol and Ron at their Asheville, NC home!
An antique Chinese cabinet turned into a bar!
Very detailed carvings
I loved the open lattice work. Great entertainment unit now!
Ron, Carol and an antique bed now with cushioning. They used to sleep right on the wood. The table is what they would eat their meals on.
We dined on an old door! How cool!
Chris is 6'3" not sure he would have fit in this old bed!
Ron showing us how the side panels could be removed if it was warm out.
What an intricate bed. This was for a concubine!
Chris in the woodsy backyard! There are bears back there!
This is Casper's filet mignon that Ron made for him!!!
Ron made a best friend real fast! Casper even went and found Ron upstairs the next morning!
One last look at the yard on the way out! We had a great time!

Burnsville!

We headed out for a wonderful dinner overlooking the mountains at AnnMrgaret and Gary's home. They are show dealers we met in Asheville! So nice to invite us to their home!

A church along the way on the drive up to 4500 ft. elevation to Burnsville!

A warm welcome!
Fresh from the Front Yard:) That was the first time I had steak from someone's own cow:)

Yum!!!

Great dinner and new friends!

The Asheville Ribfest!

Chris at our booth "Fresh Fish"!

Gary & AnnMargaret's Tent!

My favorite booth, cool birdhouses!

Billy Bob's Homemade Soda

The Ribbers! They come from all over! SC, Texas, NC, Ohio, etc.

Cowboy Style!

Oh yeah..look at this guy! I think it was an Ohio team

We sold this Chef Pig to Big Bone BBQ!
And some pigs to a cool guy from Texas. We also traded him a pig for some beef brisket!

And then the horrible, Key West style storm hit the mtns! There was a kid going around who warned everyone (and who also got yelled at by management) and who was right!
So the chant that night as the tents went down (ours broke) and people's inventory broke was
"The Kid was Right"

Here is me yelling out! Luckily this inventory can get wet!

Vintage Nautical Lights!

These vintage ship lights are soo cool! I had to get them! There are four of them and would look awesome on the outside of someone's house or on a balcony! They are original and in great shape. Ready to be used! $225 a piece. Hard to find!

Phricken Phish Phans

Well out of all the places I have traveled with a mini van (NYC, Detroit, Camden, NJ, DC...you know all the highest crime rate cities...) it got broken into at a Phish Show in Charlotte! We decided to go to a concert since we were doing a show there and low and behold some darn hippies got us (and four other cars) ....didn't loose much and luckily the posters were at the show! Not very "Crunchy" if you ask me! At least the concert was good!
